The contrast of the rich pink-red ruby flower against the lustrous white freshwater pearls is glorious! This lariat style necklace is composed of a variety of handmade elements and will surely become a treasure in your jewelry collection.

I began by weaving showstopping ruby briolettes with fine gauge gold fill wire to form a beautiful focal flower. From there I wrapped lovely white freshwater pearls loop to loop and inserted a section of multiple strands of smaller pearls and a pre-made gold fill chain. At the other end of the necklace is a handcrafted tassel of tiny ruby rondelles wrapped in fine gauge gold fill wire and white freshwater drop pearls. The top of the tassel begins with a pearl that is inlaid with tiny swarovski crystals to form a sparkling band that encircles the pearl. The lariat connects with a simple hook that can be linked wherever you like along the chain of pearls to create different looks.

The full length of the necklace is 26 inches. It can be adjusted to measure 15 inches around the neck with the longest dangle at 9 inches or lengthened around the neck as long as 20 inches with the longest dangle at 3 inches.
